Why Can't I Secure the Bag?: The Truth About Brand Clarity

Entrepreneurship is booming right now. Everyone is a business owner, girl boss, CEO or founder of something, right?

If you've started your business but the sales are not coming through like you thought they would be, 9 times out of 10, the reason is your lack of brand clarity

Let me know if any of this sounds familar:

  • You're wondering how people are banking 5, 6 & 7 figures doing exactly what you do.
  • You're also probably itching to find that secret formula to gaining tons of followers. No matter how many e-Books you buy, you still can't seem to figure it out and there have been times you wanted to call it quits.
  • Quiet as it's kept, you've even copied a caption or 2 (or 3 or 4) and still didn't yield the same results as the original poster.

Starting your own business is super fulfilling and rewarding when the sales are through the roof, you have clientele who love you and most importantly you stay true to your initial values and principles that helped you decide to start your business in the first place.

For creative entrepreneurs like life coaches, infopreneurs & branding experts, it's not always the easiest thing to decide what their "something" is. Actually it could be super hard to develop what it is that they actually offer.

There are so many elements to discovering brand clarity. It's not simply understanding what you offer, but understanding the who, what, when, why, and how of your business.

Let's get straight to it.
  • What is brand clarity?
Brand Clarity is by far the most integral part of growing a successful brand. It's simply the notion that your brand is a well oiled machine with a crystal clear clear message that is easily articulated to your ideal clientele.
In other words, without brand clarity, you will not be able to sell your products nor attract customers because you are confused on what it is that you actually do.

  • Why is brand clarity important?
Having brand clarity means that you know the "who/what/where/why/how" of your clientele.
    - Who do you want to serve (your niche)?
    - What/Where do you want to serve them (what do you sell and on which platform do you use to sell)?
    - Why do you want to serve them (what is your brand's story)?
    - How do you want to serve them (your business plan & strategy)?

  • How do you know if you lack brand clarity?
Most likely you're having a hard time finding the RIGHT people to buy your product, you aren't promoting the RIGHT product for your ideal audience, you're throwing TOO MANY products at your clientele and/or you aren't creating content that converts customers into paid clients.

So now that you know the basics of brand clarity, where do you stand?

Don't let the bullet points above discourage you from creating your dream business. There are tons of people who have all the tools & characteristics to be a successful brand owner, but the only thing holding them back is brand clarity. You won't make money if you don't make sense (see what I did there??).

By developing clarity in your brand, you will ultimately make your brand your business.
